Lutsk is one of the most interesting cities of Ukraine. The pearl of the city is the High Castle (built 1340-1384) with its well preserved three-towered entranceway (Liubart's Tower), the Styrene (or “Svidigaila”) and Vladich Towers, and the foundation-remains of the church of Ivan the Theologian (ХІІІ). Also, you can visit the church of the Intercession (XV), the cathedral church of Sts Peter and Paul (1610), the Lutheran Church (1907), the Church of Christ Ascendant (XVІІ), the former synagogue (1626), and the church of the Holy Trinity (1752). You will also enjoy the Lutsk “House of Chimeras”, by the artist Mykola Golovan with its bizarre sculptures and patterns, an extremely unique installation in Lutsk.
This is the location of the world-famous “Tunnel of Love”, a botanic phenomenon, created from a dense growth of over-arching trees and bushes around a narrow-gauge railway. Thanks to the picturesque, romantic appeal of this place it is a magnet for tourists, especially couples, who come here to enjoy a walk through this mystical tunnel.
Known throughout the Orthodox world, the Holy Dormition Pochayiv Lavra rises above the Kremenets Mountains, and attracts tens of kilometers. The Baroque Assumption Cathedral (1771-1783), the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity (1906-1912) and the 64-meter bell tower (1861-1871) with a bell weighing 11.5 tons are impressive in their perfection.
Pilgrims from all over the world come to Pochayiv to see three prominent shrines of Christianity: the footprint of the Virgin, the icon of the Blessed Virgin and the incorruptible relics of Saint Yov. Many people were healed by water from a miraculous spring. The Holy Spirit Hermitage is also interesting for spiritual enrichment.
This ancient city of the historic region of Volin has 29 notable architectural monuments, making up the Dubno Historical-Cultural Reserve. However, the most outstanding attraction of the city is the impregnable Dubno castle, dating from 1492, with not only its defensive ramparts and bastions but also the Ostrozky and Liubomorsky palaces (from the 16th and 18th centuries, respectively). In the city, you can see the former Church of the Bernardine monastery (1627), Lutsk gate (16th century), the Carmelite monastery (17th century), the Holy Transfiguration Church (1643), and the synagogue (19th century).
In 1885-1890, on the border with what was then the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the army of Tsarist Russia built a huge defensive fortress that survived two World Wars and still impresses with its vast scale. Three levels of the construction are above ground and three below, containing the remains of barracks, connected by a web of passageways and tunnels, captivating and intriguing generations of tourists.
As one of the most beautiful cities in Ukraine, Kremnets offers a great number of natural and historical sights. Castle Hill (Mount Bona) (397 m), with scenic ruins of the castle, overlooks the city; there you can view panoramas of the city situated on the picturesque mountains.
Huge buildings of the Jesuit College (1731-1753р.) draws attention as well. Thanks to the college, Kremenets was rightly coined the “Volyn Athens”. Tourists’ attention is also captured by St. Nicholas Church (XVI century), Kremenets Theophany Convent, St. Nicholas’ cathedral (ХІХ century) and beautiful botanical gardens.
The origin of the Vyshnevetskyi family, from which, the legendary founder of the Zaporizhzhia Sich Dmytro Vyshnevetskyi (Baida) is born. Once a fortress, the town has rightfully preserved the Vyshnevetskyi Palace (1720) in its classical style. Nearby, the Church of the Ascension of the Lord (1530) stands, built by Hetman Dmitro Vyshnevetskyi. It was in this church that the 17th century Tsar of Russia, False Dmitriy I, was betrothed to Maryna Mnishek.
This town played a significant role in the war of independence of the Ukrainian people under the leadership of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi. The Renaissance Palace of Vyshnevetskyi (1620-1631).
Husiatyn region has long been famous for its highly mineralized healing waters, and you can improve your health in the modern SPA center, which operates at the hotel and restaurant complex "Orysia". Here you can take a dip in the three whirlpool pools with healing brine, bask in the sauna with Himalayan salt, relax in the Turkish hammam and swim in the large swimming pool with plain water. Mineral water is extracted from a well 770 meters deep in the Novozbruchanskoye deposit and contains a huge amount of useful microelements, and the salt content is twice as high as in seawater.
This unique city is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, due to the picturesque canyon of the river Smotrych and high density of architectural monuments. Kamianets ranks third in Ukraine for its number of architectural monuments. It was also recognized to be one of the Seven Wonders of Ukraine.
Here you will find: the Old fortress (13-18th centuries), St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral (16th century) near which you will see a minaret and a sculpture of Our Lady, standing side by side. Here you will also find the oldest Сity hall in Ukraine (15th century) and take a walk in the old town admiring its natural and man-made beauty.
A peaceful place on the banks of the Dniester river, located at the site of the village of Bakota, the former capital of Ponizzya (“the Lowlands”) which flooded in 1981 during the construction of the “New Dniester” Hydro-scheme. Now you can see the Mikhailivskiy Monastery there and view the magnificent panorama of the Podilski Tovtry. The local climate, according to scientists, is similar to the climate of Yalta (Crimea).
We offer you a unique adventure, with a chance to cruise along the river Dniester and to see its most picturesque places. The cruise will pass through the Podilski Tovtry national park and you will be able to enjoy fairy rocks, extraordinary natural vistas and see the blue waters of the Dniester River.
The impregnable Khotyn fortress (13-20th centuries) is a favorite among tourists and filmmakers. The 40-meter high walls, 65-meter deep well, and wonderful views of the Dnister are very impressive. The fortress played an important and complex role in history and you leave with lasting impressions of this amazing castle.
There are a lot of artifacts of different ages in this cave. The Verteba cave has no equal among the other caves in the world. The cave is 8km long, with a labyrinth of passages covered in dense thickets of stalactites as long as 12cm.
In Verteba cave, you can see Ukraine’s first underground museum of archaeology, presenting housewares, sculptures, and other archaeological materials dating back to the Neolithic period.
One of the most beautiful cities in Europe with many cultures and nationalities enriching each other.
The city's main attraction is the architectural marvel of Chernivtsi University. This former complex of buildings of the residence of Orthodox metropolitans of Bukovyna and Dalmatia (1864-1882), is now listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. The complex of buildings combines Mauritania, Byzantine, Roman, and Hutsul styles. Genius architect J. Hlavka has integrated a variety of styles to create these beautiful structures.
You will be enchanted by the City tower (1848) and Theatre (1905). You will also see ‘Star Alley’, featuring Bukovyna Art Masters on the sidewalk leading to the theatre. The so-called “Drunk Church” (1939) is really worth admiring because there are no similar churches in Ukraine. You can also see here the inspiring sea-themed Ship House (19th century) will certainly inspire you to travel.
Chernivtsi offers many interesting and exciting places for every guest.
Here is one of the most famous and beautiful panoramas of the Dniester meander and a view of the picturesque town - Zalishchyky. The beauty of the Dniester Canyon is breathtaking, but not everyone knows that Khreshchatyk is the only settlement in Ukraine where residents drink, water cattle, clean and wash in mineral water enriched with silver ions, which comes from the monastery's miraculous spring. The village is located 200 meters above the Dniester and has no wells.
It is extremely interesting to visit the St. John the Theologian Khreshchatyk Monastery, the decoration of which is a chapel above the source of St. John the Theologian (XVII century), the church of St. John the Theologian (1768) and caves-cells (XVII century), in which, according to legend, settled the founders of the monastery. Pilgrims can bathe in the baths with mineral water and take it home.
One of the oldest cities in Western Ukraine, first mentioned in “Volodymyr Monomakh“ Teachings” (1096) has a lot to boast of before the most demanding tourists. On the territory of the settlement there is OJSC “Brovar” that brews 16 varieties of fragrant and nutritious drink, which has been brewed here since year 1698 from good spring water and environmentally friendly ecologically clean materials. Most residents of Ternopil region do not recognize any beer other than “Mykulynetske”, so we suggest buying a few bottles to see this truth for yourself.
