Winter Carpathians are enchanting! We invite you to visit the state historical and cultural reserve "Tustan" - one of the most beautiful and picturesque places in Ukraine. It is a ridge of sandstone cliffs in the middle of the Carpathians, which were formed 25 million years ago and created a picturesque complex of exotic shapes.
Tustan was an important strategic point and was part of a single system of the Carpathian line of defense of the southwestern borders of Kyivan Rus, and then the Galicia-Volyn principality. In the 9-13th centuries, the rocks housed a defensive complex, customs, and a fortress city. The central part of the fortifications occupied 3 hectares.
Not only in Ukraine, but in the whole of Europe, there are no preserved wooden fortresses of the 10-13th centuries, which puts Tustan among the unique monuments of Kyivan Rus' architecture of the pre-Mongol period.
Complex "Zahar Berkut". To climb to the clouds and see the true beauty of the Carpathian mountains, we invite you to take the cable car to the top of Vysokyi Verkh mountain (1243 m). The observation deck offers a wonderful panorama of the Skole Beskids, Gorgan, and Polonyn Carpathians.

Excursion to the dungeons of Lviv
We will visit the three most famous dungeons: the Dominican Monastery, the Church of the Transfiguration and the Jesuit Church. We will see the dungeons of the former church of Peter and Paul of the Jesuit order, where get through the baroque wrought iron doors, inspect the remains of the prince's walls (14th century), frescoes (1741-1742), carved alabaster sarcophagus (18th century). However, only the most attentive tourists will be able to see the ghost of the Black Monk.
We will also visit the dungeons of the Church of the Transfiguration. It houses the largest underground halls of the currently available dungeons in Lviv. On the site of the current Church of the Transfiguration was once a church of the Trinitarian order, which was engaged in the redemption of Christians from captivity in Islamic countries. Burials took place here during the time of the Trinitarians, but they were not preserved to this day. But you can see parts of the wall, where, according to legend, wild animals left traces of their claws.
Finally, we will visit the dungeons of the Dominican Church. Scholars suggest that this was once the first tier of the prince's palace of Leo I of Galicia. Here we will see the cell of an ascetic monk and the torture hall, as well as learn about the mysterious stories of people associated with this dungeon.
