Get to know Ukrainian traditions and celebrate Christmas with locals in the Carpathian mountains. You will meet Hutsuls – and ethnic group of Ukrainians who still preserve their ancient traditions, visit Bukovel and see unique museums.
You will experience:

Day 1: Departure from Lviv (09:00) – Ivano-Frankivsk (11:30) - Kolomyia (lunch and photo-stop near Pysanka Museum) – Yavoriv (Hutsul coverlet /“lizhnyk”/ making workshop, excursion and cheese tasting at the farm) – (Verkhovyna (check-in at Hutsul homes, dinner).
Day 2: Breakfast and departure (08:00) – Verkhovyna (excursion-concert in the museum of Roman Kumlyk, excursion and photo shoot in Hutsul clothes in the museum “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” and tour of the museum “Khata-Staia”) – Bukovel (cable-chairlift to the top of the mountain Bukovel, the Carpathian panorama and free time) – Verkhovyna (return to the Hutsul homes, Hole Dinner with carols and entertaining program).
Day 3: Late breakfast and check-out (11:00) – Verkhovyna (Holy Liturgy and the rite of caroling near the church) – Yaremche (tour of the waterfall, the restaurant "Hutsulshchyna", souvenir market and lunch) – Ivano-Frankivsk (19:30) - Lviv (return at 22:30).

The town of kolomyikas, one of the most beautiful towns in Halychyna, can boast of magnificent Secession buildings in its central part. Be sure to see the visiting card of Kolomyia, the world's unique Museum of Easter egg painting, also known as Pysanka Museum. It is located in the largest egg in the world, standing at 13.5m high, and has a collection of 12,000 exhibits. In the town, you will also see one of the best museums in Ukraine, the National Museum of Folk Art of Hutsulshchyna and Pokuttia named after Yosafat Kobrynskyi, one of the oldest in Ukraine wooden Church of the Annunciation (1587) and the Town Hall (1877), which is not in the center of the Market square but on a street corner.
The picturesque Carpathian village has preserved the ancient traditions of homemade woollen coverlets (lizhnyks), and most of the residents are engaged in bedspreads making. Only in Yavoriv you can see the full cycle of the birth of a coverlet from freshly sheared sheep's wool to the finished product, and then buy the freshly made product.
In a picturesque area in Carpathians - in the heart of Yavoriv there is a "Hutsul cheese factory", where you can listen to how cheese are made, walk around the "Eco-farm" and feel the atmosphere of the Hutsul region. Local owner will be happy to treat customers with eco-cheeses made of goat meat with jam and honey. Sheep, goats and a shepherd dog nicknamed "Chuika" will meet you curiously on the territory. This place is often called "Little Switzerland" after a visit. You're welcome to visit the "Eco-farm" in Yavoriv to taste carpathian cheese.
Ski resort No. 1 in Ukraine, where you can get to the top of the mountain Bukovel (1115 m) in the cable-chairlift and admire a beautiful view of the Gorgany and Chornohora mountain ridge.
The ethnic and geographical centre of Hutsulshchyna, the former village of Zhabie, nestled on the banks of the marvellous river Chornyi Cheremosh; in addition to the picturesque Carpathian panoramas has many other attractions for the discerning travellers.
