One of the most beautiful caves in Ukraine. It currently consists of 16 different areas, totalling a length of over 30km. Its rich diversity made speleologists call the cave “speleological chrestomathies”. You will be amazed by the cave’s huge crystals and stalactites; the walls here are covered with attractive snow-white, grey and brown crystals, creating an incredibly beautiful underground world.
Kryshtaleva cave (Crystal cave)
Walls of endless labyrinths in Kryshtaleva cave are covered with colorful gypsum crystals that fascinate with sparkles and evoke the desire to stay here forever. In the cave you will see a buffalo’s head, a snake, a drum and the bed of a caveman. You will also take a walk to places where the lord of the cave and beautiful Natalka used to live. Kryshtaleva cave is the most explored cave of Ternopil region, the itinerary stretches out for a few kilometers, and its total length exceeds 22km.
The only karst cave in Podillia with a distinct, three-level structure. Covering a route through different obstructions, wells, and gaps such as “The Baleen”, “The Decollete”, “The Toches” and “The Pioneer Hill”, we will eventually find the stunning “Partisan Gallery”. Legends, myths and cave ghosts are waiting for you in this underground kingdom.
The longest gypsum cave in the world and the fifth longest cave. 236km of this cave has been explored thus far. Optymistychna consists of 10 areas that differ from each other in their structure, form, number of crystals and colors. This breathtaking cave welcomes you to immerse yourself in the world of the underground kingdom and witness how beautiful this part of the world can be. After the excursion you can taste freshly brewed beer and have some home-made borshch and flavorful bread.
