Everyone's envy (zazdrist in Ukrainian), this picturesque Podillian village is the birthplace of the Supreme Archbishop of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church Josyp Slipyi. There is a Museum and Memorial Complex "Ridna Hata" devoted to the Patriarch. Here, you can see the restored house where Josyp Slipyi spent his childhood. In the Museum complex, you can also learn about the earthly path of Beatitude Josyp, and see his personal belongings, clothing, documents, books, and photos.

One of the most revered pilgrimage sites of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Mariinsky Spiritual Center “Zarvanytsia” attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims annually. Most of them begin their pilgrimage at the Baroque Church of the Holy Trinity (1754) to pray to the miraculous icon of the Zarvanytsia Mother of God, crowned by Pope Pius IX in 1867.

Additionally, you can see other majestic buildings in the complex, such as, the Church of the Cathedral of the Blessed Virgin (2000), a wooden Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin (2002), a four-tiered, 75m Bell Tower and the temple of the Mother Of God. Pray to the various icons and take some healing water in the source of St. Anne.

The real attraction of Zarvanytsia Spiritual Center is a unique complex of religious buildings “Ukrainian Jerusalem” (2018). It holds the replicas of the most important Christian shrines in the Holy Land, such as a copy of the Holy Sepulchre, the mount Golgotha, the Olive Garden, the Holy Stairs (the Scala Sancta), Bethesda font, the Lion (Lyon) gate and the Tower of David. The entire place is surrounded by walls reminiscent of the defensive walls of Jerusalem

This small village became famous thanks to the world's only iconostasis made of beads in the Church of the Laying of the Robe of the Blessed Virgin. The iconostasis has 18 icons, with an area of over 7 square meters, they were embroidered by 20 families who used 1.5 million beads weighing 18 kg. When light hits the beads, a 3D image is reflected, creating the impression that the icons come to life and emit light that fills the temple with a unique spiritual aura.
