The West Ukrainian wine capital is at the foot of the Chorna mountain. It is home to the castle Kankov (XIII – XVI centuries) and the remains of the Gothic Church and the chapel (XVI century). The romantic ruins of the castle still attract many tourists and filmmakers. In the centre of Vynohradiv, you can see the Church of the Franciscan monastery (XIV-XV century), the Ascension Church of the Bernardine monastery (XV century), and the Palace of the Barons of Pereni (XVII century).
