We are going on a sightseeing tour around the area of Medieval Lviv that is included in UNESCO World Heritage. This part of the city houses the most valuable sights of the Middle Ages: the ensemble of Market Square with 45 landmarks. These include the masterpieces of the Renaissance era – the Black House and the Korniakt Palace with the Italian courtyard, the Bandinelli Palace, the Wolf Scholz palace, the Palace of the Lubomirski family, Massari stone house, the residency of Venetian ambassadors.
The Armenian Quarter is the center of the art life of the city and the area with the most famous coffee shops. The main tourist attractions of this neighborhood include the Armenian Cathedral, cultural and art center ‘Dzyha’, and coffee shop and pub Gas Lamp.
Defensive buildings (the Gunpowder Tower, Lviv City Arsenal, the remnants of defensive walls) and a large number of churches of various confessions that were built at different times have been preserved until today. You will see exquisite religious monuments: Dormition Church, Chapel of the Three Saints, Latin Cathedral, Bernardine Church and Monastery, and Jesuit Church.
The last stop of the excursion is Lviv Opera - the symbol of the city and the most beautiful opera house in Ukraine.
