On the river, Smerdykh is a famous Spa resort that has long been famous for its hydrogen sulfide sources. Here you can also see the Market square, the church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit (1853), the church of the Holy Trinity (1640), three synagogues (ХVIII-ХХ) and a large Jewish cemetery (ХІХ-ХХ).
The village has long been known for pottery. We invite you to explore one of the oldest and most beautiful wooden churches in Ukraine, included in the UNESCO world heritage list, the church of the Holy Spirit (1502). It has a wonderful mural and one of the tallest wooden bell towers of the country near the church of the Holy Trinity (1545). On the site of the settlement is a cemetery for the reburial of the remains of German soldiers who died during the Second World War. There are now more than 13,000 buried soldiers.
Among the picturesque Roztochya is the Marian Spiritual Center “Zahlyna”, known throughout Galicia. It was here, in the 17th century that a miraculous spring appeared in the same place the Mother of God appeared to the girl-shepherdess, Marusi. The center also has a chapel and a plunge pool, in the middle of which is a cross, which must be circumvented three times for healing and prayer.
The border Rava invites you to visit the architectural monuments: the church of Joseph (1770), in which once was the miraculous image of the Virgin of the Holy Rosary, St. George's church (1846) and the church of St. Michael (1737). Romantics can admire the pretty fire tower (ХІХ ), the “Sokil” building (the beginning of the ХХ century) and the villa of Stoklosinskykh (1910).
This village on the Svynia river and is famous for its church of the Archangel Michael (1598) with the bell tower, iconostasis (1655), icons of Ivan Rutkovych (1688-1689), remains of the mural (1611) and the monument of the Peter Nesterov, who in these areas in 1914 committed the first in world air battle with viewing battering RAM.
