Deliatyn
Well-known town in the past for saltworkers. Besides beautiful Carpathian panoramas and the Prut river, the town draws visitors’ attention with the Church of St. Francis (1857). The church has Roman and Gothic architectural elements. It was built on the occasion of Austrian emperor Francis Joseph I’s visit in 1851. The fanciest villa of Deliatyn hosts a local history museum with a rich exhibit of Hutsul antiquities, especially embroidery and wood carving. The museum tells about the melodist of the village, Marko Cheremshyna, as he worked here in a lawyer's office. What is most striking, however, is the museum room of extremely talented artist Yosyp Vaskiv whose paintings excel in technique and cultural performance; Hutsuls called him Gandhi for his world outlook and way of living.
Dora
Here in the Yaremche outskirts, an excellent ensemble of Studite monastery matches perfectly with the scenic Carpathian Mountains. The newly renovated, multi-layered Church of St. Elijah (2015) with a bell tower is the gem of sacral wooden architecture here.

Yasinia
The “Hutsul capital”, this village is situated in the Carpathian Chornohora and Svydovets ranges on the banks of obstinate Chorna Tysa. Not far from the village, the highest waterfall of Transcarpathia, the Trufanets, forms a beautiful image as water cascades 36m down the rock face.
Rakhiv
Officially the highest city in Ukraine, Rakhiv sits 820m above sea level, and variations of height between streets reaches up to 600m. Besides picturesque Carpathian panoramas, visitors of the city will be attracted by Yuriy Pavlovych's Museum of Hutsul Carving and the Museum of Mountain Ecology and History of Nature Use, located in the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve.
Kostylivka
A Carpathian village with the ancient name, Berlybash, it is home to one of the most exuberant Hutsul festivals "Berlybaskyi banush". The program of the festival offers festive Hutsul processions with a Hutsul line-up parade, opening of the festival by trembiters, lighting up of polonynska vatra, contests on cooking and eating the most delicious dish of shepherds , banush, and performances by ethno-bands. All can participate in amusements and contests. You can also buy Hutsul souvenirs made by local masters, and local cheese, such as budz, vurdu and bryndza.
